Area of Responsability

The approximate area of CAR/SAM airspace is 90 million square kilometers, from the Gulf of Mexico to Patagonia, covering 34 Flight Information Regions (FIRs) in the following states: Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, , Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela. It also includes the Cayman Islands, Curaçao and the Falkland Islands.
