Area of Responsability

The approximate area of CAR/SAM airspace is 90 million km², from the Gulf of Mexico to Patagonia, covering 34 Flight Information Regions (FIR) in the following states: Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolívia, Brasil, Caymán Islands, Chile, Colômbia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Falkland Islands, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vicent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Urugua and Venezuela.
