Sistema de Tempo Severo Convectivo

The Convective Severe Weather System - STSC aims location and monitoring of convective cells in its most active stage, cumulonimbus clouds (CB), which due to its vertical development significantly impact the airspace and thus the operation of aircraft in flight . The refresh rate is always less than 3 minutes. This quick update aims in particular, answer directly to the Management and Air Traffic Control systems. Each identified convective cell is registered and includes its other characteristics associated with the geographic position, time and originator source (Radar and/or DEA - Electrical Discharge Atmospheric). The web interface is available in REDEMET, allows you to view the prevailing position of convective cells. Each cell corresponds to a circle with a diameter of 10km, the inner tag corresponds to base data used for classifying the respective training, which can be DEA and/or radar.

Monitoring of Works and Inoperability

The Monitoring of Works and Inoperability aims to disseminate NOTAM information on works and/or inoperability aid to air navigation in force in 39 pre-selected Brazilian airports, as well as report the possible levels of impacts that may be generated by such occurrences.

The Air Traffic Statistical Yearbook contains a valuable statistical data collection, transmiting to the reader reliable quantitative information about the current scenario of aviation in the Brazilian Airspace Control System (SISCEAB). The available data allow to identify behavior patterns, such as trend and seasonality, existing in airports and in Brazilian airspace.

CGNA makes available to the ATM Community the ANNUAL and FIVE-YEAR demand forecasts, considering the 34 main aerodromes in the country, with the objective of contributing to ATM planning and management decision-making. The ANNUAL forecast may be updated monthly, while the FIVE-YEAR forecast should be updated once a year, in January.
